Yarn

Lots of lovely yarn in my stash.  The Drops Lace is for the lace shawl, which I attempted during the summer, but is currently frogged.

This avocado shade of felted tweed is for a little Christmas project, if ever I have time to get it started.

Drops Karisma is also for a Christmas project (but it may end up as a project for Christmas 2018, if I run out of time).

Beautiful Titus yarn was purchased earlier in the summer with a glove project in mind, but I haven't had time to start them yet.

I have many projects on my 'to do' list, but not enough time in the day to get to them all...knitting, sewing and cross stitch, as well as a little Christmas ornament project, which I was shocked to discover has been pending since I bought the book back in November 2012. Maybe I will be able to get that one done before this Christmas.

  1. Seeing those colours together is making me feel a bit festive. I am knitting some socks at the moment in a red, green and white self-striping yarn but I had to explain to the Best Beloved that they are Christmas socks simply on the basis of the colours because he didn't get it. Sigh. x

    1. I’ve never tried knitting socks, but plan to do so, possibly in the New Year. Marie x

  2. They all look lovely, Marie. Very pretty colours. I'm tempted to knit some gloves too. I've never attempted them before, so they'd be a nice technical challenge for me. But I've got so many pairs of socks that I need to finish first. Have a lovely weekend, Bxox

    1. I’ve never knitted gloves or socks. I like the idea of making a pair of socks though, so may have to add this to my knitting list. Marie x

    1. Well, the lilac lace was the first project, but has been abandoned for the present, as I couldn’t manage the lace pattern. I’m now using the avocado yarn for a little Christmas cheer. Marie x
