Cranberry and Apple Chutney

 
I've been busy in the kitchen making Cranberry and Apple Chutney from Nigella's Christmas.  As this chutney needs a few weeks to mature, it is good to make it in advance.

 
The kitchen was soon full of the smell of spices and orange rind.

  2. Oh how delicious! I am a huge chutney fan and there is nothing better than the homemade stuff - shop-bought isn't anywhere near as good. I really like that chutneys are so versatile and can use just about anything in them, too. I can smell the aroma now!
