Cranberry and Apple Chutney

I've been busy in the kitchen making Cranberry and Apple Chutney from Nigella's Christmas.  As this chutney needs a few weeks to mature, it is good to make it in advance.

The kitchen was soon full of the smell of spices and orange rind.

The aroma of Christmas captured in a jar.

Oh how delicious! I am a huge chutney fan and there is nothing better than the homemade stuff - shop-bought isn't anywhere near as good. I really like that chutneys are so versatile and can use just about anything in them, too. I can smell the aroma now!

Best wishes,

Your chutney looks very tasty and so attractively packaged too - pretty enough to give as a gift:)
