A Yorkshire Village

A typical English scene.  The Lister Arms is one of two pubs in Malham.  It is a cosy spot with little nooks around the bar and open fires roaring in the grates.  Dressed in all its Autumn finery with the bright colours of the Virginia Creeper.

Signposts mark the way to other Yorkshire villages.

A traditional landmark of any Yorkshire village is the red telephone box.  The Parish Council is  trying hard to keep this one and get it refurbished.
