Like a boat setting sail across the sea, life is a journey. Where that journey will take us is not always clear, but it will certainly be an adventure.
In the early part of the year, I signed up for a proofreading and editorial skills' course through Chapterhouse Publishing. This came about because of a desire to find some alternative employment to the stressful career that I had been pursuing. I was looking for a new direction.
Circumstances were such that I did not get started on my course for quite some time and I had some considerable gaps in my studies. Over the last couple of months, I've slowly been getting back into it and I'm now approaching the Proofreading Principal Assessment with some trepidation.
I think that this journey is taking longer than I had anticipated, but I am continuing to strive for perfection (or at least to correct all spelling mistakes!).
Where it will lead me is the next part of my adventure.
