Grow Op

As I mentioned in my last post, the weather has not been great this spring.  I started my seedlings indoors weeks ago ~ far too early as I have been unable to put them outside.

Having taken over the living room with a six foot table covered in seed trays and pots, I then proceeded to do the same in the kitchen.

This is the end of a long weekend here and I did spend some time in the garden planting some newly purchased perennials.  I also moved a lot of the seedlings out to the cold frame.  The taller ones (tomatoes and cucumbers) are waiting for the plastic greenhouse cover to go back on so that I can move them into there ~ we had to dismantle it again last week after strong winds threatened to blow it away!

  1. It sounds as if the weather hasn't been co-operating with your planting plans for your garden. I hope it picks and gets a bit warmer so that you can get all those lovely plants outside soon:)

  2. Hi Marie,

Wow, you have got a lovely selection of plants going there. :) My mother has promised to bring me some tomatoes up when she comes to visit - there is nothing like a home-grown tomato. I have so missed having a garden that now I have one I spend as much time as I can in it, and it must be the same for you having 'lost' yours all winter. Fingers-crossed for some lovely weather so that your seedlings can get going.

    Best wishes,

  3. Super plants, Marie. What a great time you'll have planting them out when the time is right. I hope all danger of frost is over for you by now.
