Sweet Violets

This bone china cake stand was another find at Mayfest.  The design is Royal Albert 'Sweet Violets'.

I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I'm hoping to find some time to do some baking soon.

What a LOVELY delicate patern! I don't think I've seen the R. Albert "Sweet Violtes" pattern before. I love cake stands. I have one I use when we have the family over--sure saves space on the table. But I have a plain glass one from Ikea that I use in my sewing room to hold sewing supplies--pin, pincushion, small scissors, etc.--to hand. SO nice to catch up with you here. And fun to see all your seedling in the previous post!! Wishing you a great weekend! It will be a busy one here, I will write you early next week. :o) ((LOVE & HUGS))

Hi Tracy,

Yes it is a pretty pattern isn't it? One that I had not come across before. It replaces a cake stand which got broken a few months ago ~ thankfully, not a fine bone china one!
