What a LOVELY delicate patern! I don't think I've seen the R. Albert "Sweet Violtes" pattern before. I love cake stands. I have one I use when we have the family over--sure saves space on the table. But I have a plain glass one from Ikea that I use in my sewing room to hold sewing supplies--pin, pincushion, small scissors, etc.--to hand. SO nice to catch up with you here. Yes it is a pretty pattern isn't it? One that I had not come across before. It replaces a cake stand which got broken a few months ago ~ thankfully, not a fine bone china one!
