Christmas Robin Socks

My latest sock knitting is a new pattern for Christmas Robin socks, by the designer, Winwick Mum, in collaboration with West Yorkshire Spinners.  The colours of this yarn are beautiful and a perfect reflection of the colours of the European robin - the one most depicted on Christmas cards.

I’ve knitted more in the past couple of years than I have for most of my life.  Knitting definitely helps with reducing stress and anxiety and is good for my mental health.

  1. The yarn colorway is wonderful... VERY Christmas Robin, indeed! Knitting, for me, too, is definitely part of my well-being programme! ;) It's like tea, isn't it... It helps me keep my sanity, exercises creativity, keeps the cogs of the brain rolling, and just is a happy thing to do... and bonus is getting something very pretty and useful at the end. :) Happy Knitting! 2. I agree with you about knitting being good for mental health, I find the rhythm of an easy pattern very soothing, especially late at night if my mind is whirring. I've used WYS yarn in the past and found it a joy to knit with. That colourway is lovely and I'm looking forward to seeing your completed socks. Happy Advent, Marie. x
