I had not intended to be gone for five weeks, but life has been very stressful of late. The weather has not helped much, with at least one storm every week and sometimes more. We have had blizzards, ice, freezing rain and extremely cold temperatures. It is a long, hard winter.
The winter skies have seen some beautiful sunsets on the evenings when it has been clear enough to see the sun. When not at work, I've been stuck indoors most of the time, only managing to get out for one walk on a day when the wind was still cold enough to cut through me, but at least the sun was shining.
It has been the same there too... Walks are almost impossible some days--something always seems to be falling from the sky. We've not see the sun in many weeks. Good think I' on Vit-D supplements! Oh, but such lovely sunsets you're sharing, Marie. I'm sorry it's been tough days for you... May the beauty of the sunset shine in your heart to cheer you on. :o) ((LOVE & HUGS))
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the snow. Lovely to look at but difficult to live with.
ReplyDeleteStay warm!
Hi Marie! It has been ages since I got around to visiting blogs. I am having a day of decluttering and am taking a break.
ReplyDeleteFunny how the winter has been so severe on your side of the globe while we have had no winter at all. The plants are starting to sprout tiny buds of green and some of my summer blooms are starting to grow up shoots. Our mini daffies are in full bloom. I missed having winter but hope it stays away now as we would have a good deal of damage in our garden if it arrived late now.
Hope you are well and keeping warm!
Hugs from Holland,
Heidi
It sounds as if you have had a long stressful winter, Marie. I hope things improve soon:)
